Chinese officials say Bitcoin is not among the top 10 crypto currencies


China’s Center for Information and Industrial Development, or CCID, released its 18th Global Public Chain Technology Assessment Index on June 18. This index ranked 37 world-renowned crypto-currencies using technical specifications.

According to the list published by the local Chainnews media, Bitcoin (BTC) ranked 12th with 106.2 points.

The criteria used to carry out the evaluation of cryptomontages include Corona Millionaire Basic technology, applicability, features, performance, security, creativity and decentralization.

At the top of the list is EOS, which continues to lead the ranking with 156.1 points, followed by TRON with 138.43 points and Ethereum (ETH) with 136.4 points. The leading crypto-currency scored 20.4 points for applicability and 24.7 for creativity, while second place scored 28.4 and 15.5 points, respectively.

Bitcoin rises from 17th place in previous ranking
Fourth and fifth place are IOST and LSK with 130.3 and 119.3 points, respectively, highlighting that XRP is in fourteenth place with only 105 points.

Interestingly, Bitcoin was even further down the list in the previous ranking, occupying seventeenth place. At that time, it had a score of only 43 points in terms of innovation and 19.9 in applicability.
